Power Public Schools

Matter is providing Power Public Schools with real estate advisory and owner's representation services to support the identification, selection, and delivery of the school's founding campus in South Cobb, Georgia, ahead of a planned August 2027 opening. Power is a new public charter school preparing to launch a grades 6–12 campus, and Matter is helping them navigate a critical decision point — evaluating multiple facility options, including a church property and city-owned buildings, while aligning near-term site decisions with the school's long-term facilities strategy.

Our work spans the full process from feasibility through delivery. Matter is leading site evaluation and comparative analysis across all identified opportunities, including zoning and entitlement review, building assessments, renovation cost and timeline estimates, and risk identification. Once a preferred site is selected, Matter's role extends through transaction negotiation, design coordination, contractor procurement, construction oversight, budget tracking, and project close-out.

Matter serves as Power's independent advisor and day-to-day project manager throughout — providing structured guidance, clear reporting to school leadership, and hands-on management to ensure the school is ready for students on day one.
