Nurses MC Nashville

Matter is providing Nurses Middle College Network of Schools (Nurses MC) with owner's representation and project management services to support the buildout of a new school facility in Nashville, Tennessee. Nurses MC is a network of middle college schools focused on creating pathways to higher education for underserved students, and Matter is helping them navigate the design, construction, and permitting process for their Nashville campus.

Our work spans the full construction oversight lifecycle — from reviewing design development documents and overseeing vendor procurement to managing the project budget, monitoring the schedule, and coordinating the permitting process through Metro ePermits. We serve as the primary point of coordination between Nurses MC, their general contractor, architect, IT vendor, and program services team, ensuring all workstreams stay aligned and on track.

Matter acts as Nurses MC's advocate throughout the process — tracking expenditures, reviewing payment applications, flagging risks, and keeping stakeholders informed so the school can focus on its mission while we manage the complexity of delivery.
